Good news | the new crown detection system of three color digital PCR technology has won the certificate of Beijing new technology and new product

Since the outbreak of the 2019-nCov, Apexbio's R&D team quickly organized and developed a 2019-nCov nucleic acid detection system with ultra-sensitive tricolor digital PCR technology using the naica® digital PCR platform. Recently, it passed the Beijing New Technology and New Product (Service) Certification and was awarded the Beijing New Technology and New Product (Service) Certificate.


The 2019-nCov nucleic acid detection system with ultra-sensitive tricolor digital PCR technology is based on naica® digital PCR technology and uses an innovative reverse transcription-dPCR one-step multiplexed fluorescent probe detection technology, which simply adds template RNA and detection reagents to the chip and runs the automated, fully enclosed naica® digital PCR system.

naica®digital PCR system uses a cutting-edge microfluidic innovative 2D chip as the core of the system design, which divides the PCR system into 25,000-30,000 uniform microdrops by means of a single layer microdrop array for independent and stable PCR amplification of target sequences under the same temperature cycling conditions. Combining powerful image analysis technology and intuitive visualization detection function, the PCR system can quickly complete the simultaneous detection of 2019-nCov/human internal standard in one well, and directly obtain the virus copy number concentration by counting the negative and positive microdroplets. It is a highly sensitive and specific solution for the absolute quantification of nucleic acids without the need for labeling.

The naica® six-channel microdrop chip digital PCR system from Stilla Technologies, France, derived from Crystal microdrop chip digital PCR technology, automates microdrop generation and amplification, enables detection of 6 fluorescent channels per sample well, intelligently identifies microdrops and performs quality control, and obtains absolute copy number concentrations of at least 6 target genes within 3 hours, combining the advantages of traditional microdrop and chip-based, known as the next generation digital PCR technology.
